Hoodia Gordonii is the most powerful appetite suppressant ever created. It goes to work on the very first dosage. It also is vital in regulating blood sugar levels and proper metabolic rates within the body. The Hoodia Cactus has been used for generations as a natural appetite suppressant and thirst quencher during long hunting trips in the South African outback. The powerful extract from this cactus has been clinically proven to reduce caloric intake by up to 1000 calories per day |

ACTIVE INGREDIENT: HOODIA (HOO-dee-ah)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Hoodia
USES: Hoodia is the next generation of appetite suppressants taking the world by storm, and Maximize has dedicated itself to bringing consumers the most effective and high quality ingredients based on clinical studies and expert processing. Only the South African Hoodia species, known as Hoodia Gordonii, possesses this unforeseen appetite suppressant effect due to a unique naturally-occurring molecule which acts like a source of energy and satisfies hunger.
HOW TO USE: A typical serving of raw Hoodia is 35g obtained from a 250g portion of the whole plant. Dried extracts (20:1) are recommended with a dosage ranging from 400-800 mg daily.
SIDE EFFECTS: There are no published long-term studies on the safety of hoodia. Just because it has been used for thousands of years doesn't mean it is safe. The San Bushmen are a tribe of hunter-gatherers. They do not take pills for blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, depression, and other diseases, like we do. Hoodia simply hasn't reached a wide enough market yet or undergone safety testing to know what the side effects, drug interactions, and safety concerns are, if any. People with diabetes should be particularly cautious. Because hoodia tricks the brain into thinking that it has enough blood sugar, it's possible that a person's blood sugar could drop dangerously low while taking hoodia. With the regular hunger mechanism turned off, the normal warning signs may be suppressed -- until it's too late. There are no studies evaluating the use hoodia during pregnancy, lactation, in children, and by people with chronic conditions such as heart, kidney, or liver disease.
